In Contro City people disappearing or winding up dead was not out of the ordinary. One photograph in the newspaper made headlines and changed everything. A weeping dog standing over the corpse of his owner - a promising young boxer, has Contro's Finest on the hunt for a twisted predator. Paul Lantar is one busy young man - tending to his deceased grandmother's gardens, attempting to get along with siblings, starting a new relationship with Veena, working, going to church. The last thing he needs is to be haunted by a newspaper article. With police launching an investigation into a possible serial killer lurking around the shadows, Paul's mind is torn between dealing with his unquenchable thirst to end lives, survival, and a cunning church pastor who's intentions remain unclear.
