some flames never meant to be lit still burn the longest. Rowan Carter isn't looking for forever. A nursing student from Seattle, she's just trying to survive her last semester of clinicals, pay rent on time, and avoid the kind of heartache she's seen hollow out the women in her family. Volunteering at the La Push community clinic was supposed to be simple-until a bonfire on the beach, two beers too many, and a beautiful boy named Sam Uley shifted something she didn't mean to feel. It was supposed to be casual. Uncomplicated. Quiet. Except Sam is already in a long-term relationship. One he never mentions. And two months later, Sam disappears-only to return changed, colder, sharper, eyes burning like something wild. When he sees her again, something in him snaps. Imprint. That's what they call it. Destiny, bonded souls, all that mythic, suffocating magic. But Rowan doesn't want fate. She wants the truth. Now caught between a love she didn't ask for, a betrayal she didn't cause, and a secret world she was never meant to see, Rowan has to decide: walk away, or burn in it. Tension-heavy. Elemental. Dangerous. A story about guilt, grief, and the slow, painful way we choose one another. This is not the imprint story you've read before. #1 vampiresandwerewolves 7/31/25 #4 jacobblack 7/30/25 #1 samuley 7/1/25

However, her father raised her better than to be a pawn on someone else's board, especially if her freedom was on the line. And she had no intention of being anyone's trophy anytime soon. *** Paul Lahote always assumed that the girl of his dreams would be his rational half. A girl so docile and sweet you'd assume she was porcelain. than he met a girl who started an entire career as an MMA fighter in spite of her cruel mother. And suddenly, his desire for a girl made of porcelain was shattered and replaced by an addiction to a girl built of fire and steel. *** DISCLAIMER: I don't own the twilight saga nor any characters, plot or setting involved. You never planned on falling for someone like him. Too loud. Too golden. Too hopeful. You were a pediatric surgeon-calm, efficient, and emotionally detached. You healed children. You ignored their parents. You came home to silence and preferred it that way. Until the night he showed up at your door, bleeding and stubborn, holding a terrified little boy in his arms. Lieutenant Joaquín Torres was supposed to drop off the kid and disappear. But he stayed. He stayed when you needed quiet. He stayed when you told him to go. And without even trying, he reminded you what it felt like to be seen-not just as a surgeon, but as a person who still had a heart. You weren't looking for chaos. But he brought it anyway. And maybe, just maybe... you didn't mind. ✧ AUTHOR'S NOTE I don't own any Marvel characters. All original characters and plotlines are mine. Enjoy 🤍

There are two kinds of people in the world, or at least in Pepper Buckley's small, one town, one district world. Those people are Leatherbacks and Horseshoes. She's a Leatherback. A street rat. A hood. A gangster. Did I say hood? She's been fighting since she was brought into the nasty world she lives in. When she's reaped for the 66th Annual Hunger Games and meets the stupidly praised Golden Boy from District Four, her life is turned into a hurricane of mess-ups. Poor Pepper Buckley. {BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? A/N : First chapter is a little sketchy but that is the case with all of my books. I promise it does get a lot better afterwards Start: Feb 06 2021 End: Dec 15 2021
