Would you hide a part of yourself? You might do it if that part scared you. After a while, you might get good at hiding your secrets and past. Grian had experience with that sort of thing, and now he must do it once again - but it's so much harder this time. All bad things start with storms, So when a freak storm appears on the server it's no wonder things go wrong. After Grian ends up in an unfortunate accident he wakes up to find himself in an unrecognisable forest with no memory of his past events and unusual powers that he feels he shouldn't have anymore, along with some troubling side effects. As he tries to remember what happened to him and who this mysterious white eyed figure that is always nearby is, he makes new friends under a new, or rather old name. He begins to wonder what his old life was like, and if it really mattered, Will he be able to remember what happened before something horrible happens, or will he go on his own path, unaware of everything he's leaving behind [this is not a ship fic, sorry if you came here for any of that [this is me the to be a tragic story line and may have a few disturbing topics including gore and various mental health issues [Reader discretion is advised (Yes there will be a few Oc's in this story but nothing that changes the HermitCraft cannon too much)

Grian never meant to get involved. What began as a simple attempt to protect his friends Taurtis and Sam spiraled into a nightmare he could no longer control. Lies piled upon lies, secrets bled into desperation, and when the truth finally surfaced, it shattered everything. Taurtis was dead. Sam had lost his sanity. And Yuki wanted blood. Hunted, injured, and running out of places to hide, Grian found himself trapped in a chaos he never created yet was forced to carry. Every step forward only tightened the noose, and when escape became impossible, death felt inevitable. But fate intervened. In the moment he should have died, something went wrong. Reality fractured and Grian was torn from his world, thrown into an unfamiliar land called Hermitcraft. A place of towering builds, strange rules, and people who knew nothing of the horrors he fled. A second chance... or another trap. With his past still clawing at his mind and danger potentially following him through the cracks between worlds, Grian must decide whether Hermitcraft will be his sanctuary or the final stage of his descent.
