Taking place after Justice League Apokalips War. The second rebirth universe shares eery similarities with a few twist and turns. Damian is elected leader of the Teen Titans after Starfire is invited to join the Justice League. However, Damian becomes romantically involved with one of his teammates that begin triggering nightmares of an apocalypse. To make it worse an old adversary has returned to destroy Damians life in an attempt to lead him astray from his path to redemption.

When Raven is given as a prisoner in an exchange to The League of Shadows, lines between her and her captor become hazy and hard to interpret. Damian finds himself knocking on the veil between death and life when he's cursed by a vampire. His best option is to go back to Raven, but he's burned bridges that he's not sure if he can repair them. And Raven knows there's not a request Damian can ask that she can refuse.

Raven's nightmares are haunted by Blood as he searches for a way to claim her in Azarath, prompting Raven to return to earth. She reaches out to Damian and their friends, looking for help and support, and they all team up together to protect not only Raven, but the world from her powers.

Raven was there since her birth, locked inside the walls of Dema without any escape. But she wanted to run away from everything and escape to that hills called Trench along with the banditos that await for her.
