Temporada 2 Ash , luego de resolver un problema grave en Alola, está de vuelta con un nuevo grupo de compañeros , ahora este nuevo grupo tendrá muchas más aventuras que el anterior pero también afrontarán peligros mucho más grandes , conocerán a nuevos entrenadores que serán importantes en el viaje y también Ash descubrirá la verdad que le escondían , una verdad acerca de su padre.
