When Abby moves from Massachusetts to North Carolina she does not imagine meeting a famous 13-year-old in her social studies class. She needs to learn to expect the unexpected because something along the lines of that happens and Hayes Grier ends up sitting in front of her in social studies and eventually the pieces fall in place and they end up becoming friends.
