Y/n has lived in Meteor City ever since they could remember. Since she was little, they have been alone, of what Y/n knows, barely surviving. Learning how to steal small portions of food and clothes, Y/n has been able to live for around 12 years in Meteor City. Not actually knowing their birthday, it is the age they remember being told. Finally getting strong enough Y/n decides to leave their home the following year and start a new life in the city. From the city being so busy, they were able to make a living out of stealing and took up jobs for bounties to get money. One day Y/n heard about the Hunter exam and decided to take the challenge up.
