"I'm in love with you." How many times would I have to think about this, how many times, before she could hear it, feel it, see it in my eyes? "I'm in love with you." How could I make her see without telling her, without scaring her off... without losing her. I couldn't lose her.

Northanger Abbey follows seventeen-year-old Gothic novel aficionado Catherine Morland and family friends Mr. and Mrs. Allen as they visit Bath. It is Catherine's first visit there. She meets new friends, such as Isabella Thorpe, and goes to balls. Catherine finds herself pursued by Isabella's brother, the rough-mannered, slovenly John Thorpe, and by her real love interest, Henry Tilney. She also becomes friends with Eleanor Tilney, Henry's younger sister. Henry captivates her with his view on novels and his knowledge of history and the world. General Tilney (Henry and Eleanor's father) invites Catherine to visit their estate, Northanger Abbey, which, from her reading of Ann Radcliffe's Gothic novel The Mysteries of Udolpho, she expects to be dark, ancient and full of Gothic horrors and fantastical mystery.

Alexandra Silence has succeeded in a lot of fields, things like sleeping on all the flat surfaces in her parents house, eating everything in the fridge in one sitting and just barely scraping by as an assistant manager in their family run restaurant. She's certain she's in the wrong line of the work, if the way to someone's heart is through their stomach she'd be better off performing open heart surgery. The survival rate would be twice as high and her patient would walk away with their life, she can't say the same for anyone she's served food to. Her father on the other hand has other ideas and without her knowledge he signs her up to take classes at one of the most elite culinary schools in the world. Now it's up to Alex to either prove him wrong and quite literally crash and burn, or with the help of a few new friends and one special professor prove to herself that outside of women and fan-fiction, cooking is her hidden talent and one true passion in life. ~For the most delicious snack in the entire universe~ 💚

Sick of cliché Wattpad books? Then this isn't the book for you. We take every single over-used plot, character and trope on Wattpad - from player-meets-nerd to my-boyfriend-is-a-vampire - and mash it all into one, awful, hilarious parody. NOTE: This is a parody. Characters have not been created to mock a race/nationality/sexuality, they have been created to lightly poke fun at the way certain teen fiction writers reduce them into crude stereotypes. Thanks for helping this pile of junk get to #1 in Humor!
