{A Kaylor Family Fic} "I wonder if inside my head I'm not just a bit different from some of my friends" Josefina has always been that being different is bad. Why else would her birth family try so hard to make her act like everyone else? Josie has never been able to see the world the way other people do. But, when she meets Karlie and Taylor, she learns that maybe being unique is not a bad thing after all.

Taylor Swift is not nearly as enthusiastic as her friends to start the new semester. Maybe, it's because she's a transfer, new school already tainted by the bad experiences of the last one. Maybe it's because her mom hasn't called, or because her ex won't stop calling. No matter what it is, it's all made worse when she finds out that her room is directly across from the RA. An RA who she can't stop thinking about.

"And I’m not trying to stop you, love. If we’re gonna do anything we might as well just fuck."

California, 1875. After fifteen years of being away from her home, Karlie goes back to the small frontier town where she had grown up. She had lost all contacts with her childhood friend Taylor long ago, but something inside of her had never truly stopped hoping that a day they would have met again. But will Taylor feel the same way? So many years have passed. Was Taylor even going to be the same giggling and innocent girl she remembered in her childhood memories? If not Karlie was soon going to find it out. In other words western lesbian slow burn with a lot of angst.

Taylor had always been the odd one out. Friends, family, lovers - it didn't seem to matter. For some reason she couldn't seem to connect with anyone, at least not enough to make them stay. She never thought she's be caught in the gaze of the school's big woman on campus. She certainly never expected the consequences that came from being chased.

What it says on the tin, though really they're more drabbles. The one shots are at least a little more creative than the works title. All one shots are unrelated unless specified otherwise.
