[Takes Place in Book One: Water | Work 1/3] Two refugees from the Earth Kingdom escape from the Fire Nation, a pregnant woman and her husband. Upon landing on an island, they wonder, hoping for any food source. The husband sees a glimpse of berries and rushes toward them, not noticing the covered entrance to the western air temple. He falls down a flight of stairs for non-airbenders. The wife rushes to his side. After weighing their options, the couple decide to settle in the temple. That was meant to be a regular leap, not Tsu-lyn actually flying using airbending. Multiple years later, an 11 year-old basic air-bender is dancing around, waiting for her parents to return from gathering food.
