America is heartbroken by her break up with her ex-boyfriend Aspen. Prince Maxon is tired if the constant disrespect from his parents and peers. So he escapes the palace for a night on the town. But two broken souls, a plane ticket, a party, a couple bottles of wine, and one night later, America wakes up in bed. Next to The Prince of Illea. What happens when 6 years later, America only has one choice. To accept a job at the palace with her friend in order to give her daughter a better life. But what if she comes face to face with Maxon and has to relive her millions of mistakes?

America lost the Selection. Maxon hasn't seen her in years. One day on a trip to Carolina Maxon uncovers what really happened to the once amazing America Singer.
