Peyton Wright was the human embodiment of perfection: she was beautiful and from a rich family, and a model. Of course, this earned her the title of the "it" girl at school. However, her popular life catches up with her when her grades begin to slip from missing too many days from skipping school, and the only way to get them to rise is from peer tutoring someone else. Noah Alexander was the human embodiment of... weird. She had no social life and wore shabby clothes that consisted of only oversized sweaters and beanies. Noah's future is on the line as she attempts to pass her classes in hopes to win a competitive scholarship, but it proves harder than she imagined. What happens when the most popular girl begins tutoring the school's outcast?

From a very young age, Samantha Poulsen knew she was different from other girls-the unrequited crush on her best friend, Andrea, was just the tip of the iceberg. But when the earth's temperature plummets, and you and your family are just looking to survive, things like finding a girlfriend or being in love become trivial fantasies. Scientists first spotted the asteroid in the year 2004. They named it 99942 Apophis after the deification of darkness. When the asteroid struck the planet, it set off a chain of events that few expected-the first Ice Age in nearly 12,500 years. Now, two years after Apophis's impact, survival is all that matters. But when Sam's family rescues a man and his daughter-a beautiful girl named Nora who reignites those banished, trivial emotions-Sam might be convinced that there's still a place for beauty in this new world.

Taylor Monroe always kept to herself. She genuinely enjoyed spending her weekends and weekdays alone, losing herself in the bundle of notebooks she'd spend hours filling with beautiful poems and thoughts no one else would understand but her. Sometimes, if she was feeling a little inspired, she'd sketch. Other times, she'd take photos on her film cam. But there was always one subject. Romee Carey. The girl that makes everyone's heads turn wherever she goes. The one of the golden hair and dazzling smile. The reason for Taylor's erratic heartbeats ever since Science class ten years ago. Not that Romee remembers. Or even bothers to acknowledge her existence. A/N: this is my first book some parts are kinda cringey im sorry but you're welcome to take a leap of faith
