Deathstroke didn't have to. He really didn't have to. Finding a small black haired and blue eyed boy on the grimy streets of Gotham was never part of the plan. Taking him wasn't either. Raising him was out of the question. But here he was, Deathstroke the Terminator, raising a wisecracking apprentice who could simultaneously make the mercenary proud and get on his every nerve. Deathstroke trained the boy, trained him well. But something made him hesitate, something like fear. Deathstroke would never admit it, never out loud anyway, but in all his years of killing and living up to his name... he didn't want to lose that boy. Overprotective was never in Deathstrokes vocabulary, but this boy was different, he could work wonders. Dick Grayson has been living on the streets since he can remember. The thing is... he doesn't remember much. He has 'information' on certain people, he knows who/ what the ones around him are and who has to be eliminated. On top of all that, a huge bunch of weird people are after him and one of them is the Big Bad Bat. Dealing with amnesia and panic attacks he's not the safest person to be around. Will he ever discover his past or will everything about his existence stay forgotten? No one knows. Kaldur just was disappointed, Connor was just more Stoic, Artemis was her usual self, but Robin distanced himself from her. What will happen when Robin's birthday comes around? What happens when his first and most hated enemy escapes prison? What happened when he gets ignored by his team on a mission and ends up getting gravely injured? What happens when Robin must fight for his life?
