A Hades/Persephone retelling. How often do you catch yourself wondering how somebody's touch would feel? How soft their hands would be as they caressed your entire form, how sweet their lips would taste when they descended down to yours, how diabolic the touch would become as the hands would drift lower and lower? Persephone often wondered the same thing. [...] She saw the nymph playfully push the satyr down on the soft grass before straddling him, the sheer fabric of her garment highlighting her graceful movements. She heard her giggling and the satyr's amused growls and her green eyes widened when she saw the satyr's hand wander underneath the nymph's skirt. Perhaps, she should have left the moment she realised what she had stumbled upon. Perhaps, she should have return to her field of lilies and picked some flowers for her mother, Demeter. We all know the myth of how Hades saw Persephone and just had to have her as his wife. In the myth, there is an abduction and other negative things that paint Hades in a horrible way. But, what if the truth of that myth was something beautiful and filled with love and longing and destiny? What if Demeter, Persephone's mother who was heartbroken at her daughter leaving her and enraged by the fact that she would be in the Underworld, spread lies about their story? This tale sheds new light on what happened between Persephone and Hades, and it shows that there can be light in the darkest of places, and darkness in the sunlight.

When the Goddess of Spring had successfully escaped the Underworld, The King of the Dead was determined on finding her. In order for her to start a new life, Persephone changed her looks and created a mortal name; Jade Collins. Expecting she'd be far away from the King of the Underworld, she then met a gentleman with a miserable past of his fiancéé leaving him. His name you ask, Nicholas Barnes; Hades' mortal name. And so when fate gets twisted and undeniably confusing, the Goddess of Spring and the King of the Underworld were clueless about each other's real personality. Nevertheless, they fell in love with each other as a mortal. Will Hades know that the lady whom he'd been attached to, is the same lady as his queen whom he was finding? And Will Persephone know that the man whom she'd fallen inlove with, is the same man as his husband whom she loathed so much? Based off the original Greek myth: Hades pushes me up against the wall. His breath fanning over my neck as I push against his chest. "Don't pretend Persephone." He mumbles pressing his lips to my neck. "You have feelings for me, I can see it." He continues to assault my neck trailing kisses lower. "Your mother or Apollo can't take you away," He says in between kisses. Hades makes his way back to my jawline. "Because despite what you say you don't want to leave." His blue eyes stare into mine. His lips come crashing down on mine: my first kiss.

A retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone -- For as long as Persephone can remember it has always been her and her mother. Until one day, a stranger appears, causing her to have unfamiliar feelings-her world changes when her mother persuades her to go to the Underworld with him. In a place much different than the sheltered one she is used to, she will learn things about herself that were unknown even to her. Will she learn to embrace them or shy away from them altogether? Hades has always been content to remain in the Underworld, ruling over the dead just as intended. He learned to settle for what he had been given long ago. But after an unplanned visit to his sister, he may have just changed his mind.
