Jim went through the Dark lands himself after finding out that his friends had passed in a battle in Trollmarket. Once he arrives he knew that going into the Dark lands isn't going to be easy as he thought it would be. Annabelle is the oldest sibling and no one knew that she is actually a Trollhunter herself and insisted Blinky to not tell Jim about their past. But when she visits Trollmarket and learns about Jim's whereabouts, she knew that she has to stop from making a huge mistake. I don't own DreamWorks or Trollhunters, but own Annabelle.

After his friends help him escape the Darklands, Jim tries to hide the effects it had on him by acting chipper, and taking on all the missions he can take. His friends know that he's lying about being fine, and they can only hope he gets better. WARNING- Contains season 2 spoilers!!

In a twist of fate, James Lake Junior disappeared mere days after his tenth birthday. His body was never found. Five years later, Atlas is just a normal teenage boy, who just happens to work for a murderous secretive organization of shape-changing trolls. It's not so bad though. On the way to school, Jim and Raelle's life would be different when they take a shortcut through the canals with their friend Toby and discover an amulet. They soon learn of another world inhabited by trolls and other magical beings living under their home of Arcadia. Jim and Raelle must protect the world from the evil that lurks in the darkness.
