The little Princess mounted her mother's dragon and fled King's Landing with the intentions of putting as much distance between her and those who might harm her as possible. But she did not get very far. Rhaenyra, shortly after hosting a lonely funeral pyre for her mother's corpse, was caught in one of the worst storms in living memory. All went dark but she did her best to not lose her grip on Drogon who tried his hardest to stay aloft despite the harsh rain and wind. Then suddenly a there was light again and Rhaenyra found that Drogon had landed in the middle of a wide green field in a world where she did not recognize anything and anyone. She is but a child of just six namedays and not counting the great dragon that she now riders, there is no one else by her side. Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you.
