The abuse started when Dawn was 9. She has never let her father touch Jesse. Never. Now, Dawn is 17 years old and Jesse is 14. And, because of Jim's job, they have to move to Florida. Dawn is not too excited, as they have moved 6 times because of his job and she hates being the newbies as well as her brother. When she goes to her new high school, she is an easy target and is instantly the outcast. But that's okay with her. She can't become close with anyone or else they might find out about her home life. And if someone finds out and tells the police, they will go into foster care and her and Jesse with be split up. But what happens when she gets paired up with the bad boy of the school for a project? What happens if they get closer? What happens if he finds out about her home life? But, most of all, what happens when she starts to get feelings for Ryder? My 1st book (slow updates at the moment)
