Well, opportunity knocks for the young prince when his auntie hosts a masquerade for John's 18th and he meets the mysterious boy in the black mask. Things seem to be looking up for teenager Paul McCartney in the summer of 1955, up until his mother falls seriously ill. After her death, he writes his feelings in a diary he got for his birthday, not thinking that maybe one day his father would come across it. His secrets lead to his downfall, and now Paul has to learn how to deal with his new life. (A/N- I've only been to Liverpool once so sorry if some of these things are incorrect, however most of the aspects of this story are supposed to be different to what actually happened.)

This was all John and Paul ever wanted. A nice little family with a normal life. Unfortunately they cannot lead one that way. Not only are they worldwide celebrities, they have to face angry press, bigoted paparazzis, and close-minded daycare teachers. This family can only do so much to maintain their sanity.
