i ran up to my house with pikachu running next to me, as we ran i saw ho-oh go overhead, i couldn't help but smile as i saw it leave a rainbow behind it, i loved that sight it always reminds me of my first day as a trainer with pikachu. i looked at my electric companion and said "race you home pikachu" as soon as i said it i started running as fast as i can down the road to pallet town. "pika" he said suprised and realised i had got the head start. i slowed down a little until i stopped on top of the hill overlooking the town. i breathed in a big breath and let it out. "ah it's good to be home" i looked behind me to see were pikachu was, he was still quite a way aways, i decided to start running again, but not sprinting i wanna beat pikachu for once, and started going down the hill, as i got closer i could hear a pokemon using a move i couldn't hear what but i was sure i was about to find out. "pika pika pika pika" pikachu exclaimed running past me with quick attack. as soon as i saw him i started sprinting to my house. as we got close to the house we were neck and neck until pikachu released a small burst of energy and beat me. "dammit pikachu... one of these days i will beat you in a race" i panted pikachu just snickered at my frustration "oh well, i guess today isn't that day, come on pikachu lets go tell mom we're back." as i walked up to the door i could hear multiple voices and all of them sounded familiar. 'what is going on' i though to myself. what will they do? will any of them stand up for ash? what will happen to him after? read on to find out.

After Jesse, James, and Meowth are fired from Team Rocket, they ended up finding Ash only to see that all of his Pokémon were murdered and he was left for dead. the Trio decides to help Ash in becoming strong and also support him.
