Para su suerte, el único día que se queda con ellos es el mismo día en el que se muda a su casa. Aunque la suerte no está tan de su parte que se diga, cuando se ve obligado a estudiar en un Internado. Para él los Internados solo están llenos de gente arrogante y rica, nada que ver con su ambiente usual. Sin embargo, el que se lleva el premio del más cretino, arrogante e insoportable de todos ellos, es sin dudas, Alistair, el chico de ojos miel de los cuales, Leviathan, no puede evitar perderse en ellos. Por otra parte, Leviathan Le Strange, también tiene un secreto. Un oscuro secreto del pasado de su familia que desconoce, relacionado con la serie de misteriosas desapariciones de los estudiantes del Internado St. Mary.
