Love didn't come easily for Madison and Daniel. What started as an impossible connection turned into a fight for love, faith, and the life they were never supposed to have. Now married, expecting their first child, and standing on the edge of forever, they must learn what it truly means to build a future-not just fall in love. Between wedding plans, pregnancy hormones, family, faith, and the quiet fears that come with adulthood arriving too fast, Madison and Daniel discover that love doesn't end with "I do." It begins there. This final book is about choosing each other every day, about finding joy in the ordinary, strength in the chaos, and beauty in the life you never planned-but wouldn't change for anything. A heartfelt conclusion filled with romance, laughter, faith, and family, this story proves that sometimes the greatest love stories don't end... They grow.

Love was supposed to be the hardest part. Madison thought surviving high school, danger, secrets, and a forbidden relationship meant the rest of her life would finally slow down. Graduation is over. The future is waiting. She's in love, pregnant, and engaged to the man she believes is her forever. But life doesn't stop throwing lessons just because you've passed the class. Old flames resurface. New temptations test loyalty. Secrets from the past refuse to stay buried. And just when Madison thinks everything is finally falling into place, she realizes that love isn't just about choosing each other-it's about choosing each other every day, even when things get messy. As Madison and Daniel navigate adulthood, parenthood, trust, and unexpected challenges, she's forced to learn that growing up doesn't happen all at once. Sometimes it happens in heartbreaks, hard choices, and moments that change you forever. This sequel is about love after the fairytale, about standing your ground when life pulls you in different directions, and about learning that the biggest problems don't come from falling in love-but from holding on to it. Because some assignments don't end after graduation. And some love stories are only just beginning.

Madison Lucas never expected her life to turn into a lesson she couldn't study for. What starts as an ordinary high school assignment slowly becomes something far more complicated when Madison finds herself falling for Daniel Anderson-her history teacher. What was supposed to be simple, safe, and temporary turns into a love neither of them planned, but neither can walk away from. As their secret relationship grows, so does the danger around them. A jealous obsession spirals out of control, friendships are tested, and Madison is forced to confront fear, betrayal, and trauma that will change her forever. With her safety at risk and her heart on the line, Madison must decide who she can trust-and how much she's willing to sacrifice for love. My Assignment Was to Fall in Love with My Teacher is a story about forbidden love, growing up too fast, and learning that sometimes the most unexpected chapters lead to the strongest endings. It's about survival, healing, and choosing love even when the cost feels impossible. Because some lessons stay with you forever. And some love stories are worth every risk.

(Student/Teacher) If you have not read my first book (Behind Classroom Doors) please go do so before reading this one! This is the sequel but I hope you enjoy it! -------------------------- Behind Classroom Doors II- Excerpt: I press my finger against his lips to shush him. He stares at me, watching my hands fumble over my buttons and undo each button. I move it off of my shoulders and let it slide to the floor. My bra is the next to go, I undo it and take that off too. Then I untie the jaw string of the joggers, all while watching his reaction. I pull it down and step out of it but not before my shoes and socks. I'm down to my panties, but it only takes me a few seconds to take them off too. Completely bare in front of him, I walk over and turn the shower on. "I'm sorry that I showed up in men's clothes but I will tell you everything." I open the shower curtain and get inside. The water hits me, running down my whole body. "You need to talk to me too. Because the way that you felt when I walked into your office, is how I felt when I saw you scared on the bathroom floor. I make assumptions and lose the bigger picture." "What's the bigger picture?" He asks. "That we're in love with each other." I hold out my hand for him. "Come in here, so I can show you how much I love you." Shawn stares at my hand. Meanwhile my heart is beating so fast, I've never done anything like this before. Thankfully, he takes off his clothes and grabs my hand.
