Griff Donovan once walked away from true love choosing his desire for the fame and glory of the NFL instead. But when his life is turned upside-down by a mysterious and dangerous individual, he knows there's only one person who will even consider helping him. No matter what it takes, he vows to convince her. After all, everyone has a weakness, or a price, as he's learned all too well. Annabelle Durand watched the love of her life walk away not once, but twice, and she's hidden her heart, and her secret, since then. But when Griff walks back into her life demanding she help him, Annabelle realizes she might be able to save the one thing she values most in this world if she accepts his deal. But will she be able to protect her heart, and her secrets, in the process? They say that the truth can set you free. But, in this case, Griff and Annabelle are bound together by the desperate lie they share, and the one they don't. A big thank you to Tricia Dehler for the prompt and for hosting the Golden Writer Writing Contest.

It's been ten long years since Ruth Radley stepped foot in Birchfield. Ten years since her mother took her and ran as far and as fast as she could. Now, eighteen and free, it's time for Ruth to finally return. Yet, Birchfield is not quite how she remembers, and Gram seems to know more than she's letting on. Even when the town starts to whisper and ever stranger things keep appearing at her edge of the woods, Ruth pushes away the old stories her mother used to tell. But as the nights grow darker and the world gets stranger, Ruth starts to wonder if maybe her mother was right after all. And maybe she wasn't the only one who returned to Birchfield--maybe, just maybe, the Wolf survived. The idea and cover for this story came from @TriciaDehler and is an entry for her Golden Writer Writing Contest.

| Featured on Mystery, Crime and Fright, WattpadUrbanFantasy and more | Welcome to Haywood, home of the tastiest truffles and of course, mysterious deaths. ________________________ Charlotte Alberto had a plan. She would finish college, complete her first novel, publish it, become a bestselling author and die happy. What she did not plan on was to be arrested. Turns out, someone out there really wanted Charlotte out of the way and went to extreme heights to frame her for a strange crime or as the Haywood Police Department put it, the most creative murder yet. Being a writer herself, she knew this was the part in her story where something even worse happens but things take a humorous turn when a random, quirky stranger appeared on her room claiming to have no idea on how he got there. They were both from two very different lives, had two different problems and everyone was baffled on why they were randomly thrown into each others' paths. Seeing as Charlotte believes coincidence to be a myth, she is determined to find out more about where this stranger came from and most importantly, how he was connected with everything else. In the end they become victims themselves, not of murder but something just as evil. _______________________ Featured on @Fright - Psychological Crime and Thrillers @WattpadNanowrimo - Nanowrimo 2020 projects @WattpadUrbanFantasy - Dark as Death @WattpadCreepypasta - Romantic Ravioli @mystery - Curiouser and Curiouser @StoriesUndiscovered - May 2021 @PsychologicalNovel - Crime and Suspense @generalfiction _______________________ Started: Nov 2020 Finished: April 2021 PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS LUCAS WHITMORE Cover by @FiftyShadesOfTimmy This is a standalone novel. *Completed* *Unedited* With every step he took towards me, I took one back until I hit the edge of his bed. A deep growl rumbled from his throat and I tried to make myself smaller in hopes that he would leave me alone. Being a human, I stood no chance against this beast in front of me. He would tear me apart. His muscles rippled with ease from underneath his shirt; his stance towered over me; his eyes colored with darkness; and I knew he was struggling to keep his wolf contained. "Kitten, don't act all scared. This is what you wanted, isn't it? You've always fantasized about what it would be like to be with a beast like me." His hand approached me slowly and then brushed my hip. I gasped. His teeth grazed my neck and I unconsciously leaned my head away, so he could have more room. "Answer me!" he growled. My chest furiously moved up and down as I tried to calm myself. I shook my head. "Well, Kitten, you're MINE. Whether you like it or not." From a very young age, Mae has been told by her father to stay away from werewolves. They were too rough, too dangerous for humans, but she always had a fascination with them. Damon was the Alpha of the Night Bane pack and he was exactly what Mae's father told her he would be - rough and dangerous. *Not my cover art @ Jojoesart

"Light up my darkness," he murmured against her bare flesh. His fingers trailed up her arm, leaving a blazing fire beneath them. His lips pressed softly against her shoulder and her eyes fluttered closed, accepting his touch. "Let go and I'll take away all of the pain." She desperately wanted to free herself from the torture of the heat, of the shift, of the sadness, but she pushed his firm chest away from her. She yearned to finally fulfill her place among the divine. She desired to guide and protect the species. She wished to eliminate the Challengers. The longer she endured the pain, the more power she would attain to help her fulfill her responsibilities. To the men who watched her ascend, it looked as if she was interacting with thin air, but she knew he was there with her. She smiled softly at him, caressing his cheek. "My Darkness, let the pain fester within me. I crave it." * The Betrayal is a part of The Marking Trilogy and cannot be read as a stand-alone book. The Marking must be read first.* Cover by @Finding_Bria

"The Fallen Star" is a fantasy epic set in a bronze-age, Mediterranean style world. Dardano - a vast empire slowly decaying under the weight of tradition and ceremony. The ruler of the empire has died, and now the royal children must step in to fill the vacuum. Prince Fornulus is the heir, but nobody expects great things from the dimwitted and brutish prince, and his siblings have their own plans, none of which involve Fornulus remaining in power. Young Prince Nikolonium wants to turn the empire onto the path of righteousness - but it will take all that he has to stand against his manipulative, ruthless, and occasionally downright sadistic siblings. Note: this story is completely written at around 110,000 words, with 36 chapters. I'll be publishing a chapter every week, on Fridays, and working on the sequel as I do to hopefully get it finished before I run out of these chapters! I'm also going to publish this story on Royal Road under the username "VictorValens".

The Phantom of the Opera (French: Le Fantôme de l'Opéra) is a novel by French writer Gaston Leroux. It was first published as a serialization in Le Gaulois from 23 September 1909, to 8 January 1910. It was published in volume form in late March 1910 by Pierre Lafitte. The novel is partly inspired by historical events at the Paris Opera during the nineteenth century and an apocryphal tale concerning the use of a former ballet pupil's skeleton in Carl Maria von Weber's 1841 production of Der Freischütz. It has been successfully adapted to the various stage and film adaptations, most notable of which are the 1925 film depiction featuring Lon Chaney, and Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical.

[Featured on Wattpad Official Romance's Reading List!] Marzia Castille has always had dreams. When she was 3, she wanted to be a pop star. When she was 5, she was sure there was a career that meant she could build Lego for a living (spoiler alert; there isn't one). When she was 8, she wanted to be an astronaut. Unlike most girls, funnily enough, she never wanted to be a princess. Which kinda sucked, because she was one. Now that she's 17, she's the furthest thing from a princess imaginable. She's just a normal teenager with an annoying arch-enemy, a myriad of homework that she has no plans of completing, and jeans that she wears in place of school trousers (which she'll deny if you ever challenge her on it). Being the Oxford English Dictionary definition of 'not princess' and hiding in her shitty flat in London, is the only thing keeping her from an early grave. Someone out there wants her blood, but no one can quite tell her who, or why. But when a newspaper article hits her right between the eyes, and throws everything into permanent turmoil, she has to cut through her fear, and face the life she left behind. Armed with her best friend Emilio, and a sarcastic attitude that never seems to falter, she's pushed into a constant battle of love, heartbreak, impossible responsibility and determination, that all culminate in the never-ending whirlwind that throws her about. Oh, and let's not forget complete and utter confusion and hunger about 90% of the time too.
