Forest is a young loner she-cat living a peaceful life with her mother and her siblings. But when a forest fire destroys their home and kills Forest's mother, she and her siblings embark on a quest to find a new home. Given a mysterious wish upon her mother's death to find the Clans, Forest and her siblings arrive in ThunderClan. They take refuge there, but when her life is finally looking better, a deadly threat that could endanger all the clans reveals itself. Forest seems to be the only cat brave enough to face the truth, while the rest of her clan is giving in. But will she be able to cling on to hope before her new life is destroyed?

After meeting a gang of cats, Sappy and her brother soon learn that they need to toughen up and fight if they are to survive, even if it means becoming killers.

Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres.
