Fernande Eurygail "Fergail" Manzanares is a happy-go-lucky type of person. She always does what she wants and what makes her happy. She doesn't care about other's opinion and there's no space for negativity for her. She's always straightforward at parang walang preno ang bibig sa pagpapahayag ng kanyang sariling opinyon at nararamdaman. She's used to have reactions in everything she says so when she met someone who's very serious, stiff. and emotionless; a complete opposite of her, that made her feel challenged and intimidated which is very unusual for her and that became the reason for her to have interest in him. He's different from the guys she normally meets. It even became deeper when she found out the wishes of their great great grandfathers that was long overdue because the past generations before them can't work out. She forced to fulfill it. It was all game for her from the start until it became serious as she grows up. She started developing foreign feelings and she didn't know how to deal with it. 'Cause she doesn't know it from the very start. It made her choose to suppress her feelings and to lock him in her heart which ended up jailing her. When the time she realized what it is, she gathered all the strength and guts to open up herself to him but she got rejected. It's like a cage of her feelings opened where she was jailed for a long time and she is not willing to go. It took a long while for her to free herself inside an already open cage. But the moment she stepped outside, she couldn't be lock again. It is more than their families' promise, it's about their own feelings.
