Crystalpaw is a young medicine cat apprentice who just wants to fit in. Moonpaw is an ambitious young apprentice who has a desire to become leader one day. Raven is a member of the Shattered Crystal cats who wants nothing more than to be a great hunter. Duskpaw is nearly a warrior who has been head over heels for Moonpaw his whole life and wishes he could be her mate right now. Yarrowpaw is a medicine cat apprentice who wants to be just like his mentor. Five cats desperate for a goal that always seems just out of their reach, until they meet a mysterious cat...
