You died. Again. But, when you woke up... You were back at the beginning. You didn't reset... but something was off. Flowey seemed skittish, frightened even. He was KIND. The people you knew, you once held dear... CHANGED. The entire underground was different... Dark. Nobody seemed to recognize you, but a part of them still remained. Someone who just wanted a friend, to be looked up to, respected... And another who just wanted hope-who was tired of this game... You're left with two choices: Will you kill to survive, or will you die befriending them all over again? Authors Note: This is in the AU Underfell. I recommend looking into it, it's simply amazing to me! Long story short, the "you" mentioned there is Frisk but it was a good description for the AU I found once. This is basically, somewhere the save file got corrupted, and now everything is reversed except Frisk. Hope you enjoy! Disclaimer: I do not own Undertale.

All was peaceful in the Underground... That is, until a horrible disease began spreading rapidly amongst all monsters. It started in Hotland... Then spread to Waterfall... Finally, it has reached Snowdin. Sans never goes outside anymore. He doesn't even go to Grillby's, out of fear the disease will infect him and he won't be able to protect his brother in these dangerous times. All hell has broken loose... And it lurks just beyond the Skelebros' locked doors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WARNING: This fanfic contains horribly painful transformations, cursing, character suffering, gore and other content of that sort. Do not read if you are uncomfortable with any of said themes. Highest Rankings: #41 in disease #359 in papyrus #75 in undertaleau

I don't know how much longer I can go on. It came so suddenly, during a time when I had least expected. And now...I don't know if I will be able to escape. Vines wrap around the sleeves of my blue hoodie, causing me to give up any and all control. They continue down my body and to the ends of my legs, making my steps copy and unnatural. As they move me forward, I do everything in my control to go back. "Quit it trash bag!" The voice that is literally in my head screams. I fight even more. They can't hold onto control forever, can they? I try to speak, but vines around my neck prevent me from doing anything too risky. It wouldn't take much for a soulless flower to decide that he's done with me as his puppet. I never liked being responsible for too much. Even when I had to take care of Papyrus, I knew that all I had to do was keep him happy. And then we would be fine. But anything else, like becoming the Royal Judge, made me feel as if I was adding another string for the puppeteer to control. And that never sat well with me. But now... I have no control over anything. [Artwork is not mine, I have the art skills of a rock] [#1 floweytheflower]

Finally, after all these resets, it appears they finally got their "happy" ending. However, not all of them feel the same way. Flowey and Sans are the two left who remember what happened, and they are filled with resentment. Just the knowledge of the resets can be nearly maddening. However, Sans keeps his smile. But one day, he realizes... He doesn't want to be Mr. Nice Guy anymore.

For years, Papyrus knows, Sans has had nightmares. Horrible nightmares, nightmares that leave him crying in the dark, crippled in the mind, and barely able to function in life. And that's why Papyrus stays so happy, so bright, for Sans, to keep his brother going through the hard times. But when Papyrus starts having nightmares, he knows something is wrong. And even if it means Sans is finally stepping up to fend for himself, even if he's finally once again filling the role of the protective older brother, Papyrus knows that something dark is coming...
