Sagepaw, Nightpaw, and Timberpaw have all choosen their destinies but there has been an interference. StarClan's prophecy comes in nearer as the three ThunderClan apprentices grow older and more mature. Threats from the Dark Forest hang grimly over the thoughts of the StarClan warriors as the watch the Clans go about their days oblivious to the pending time when the shadowy cats shall strike again. Another danger has fallen across the Clan cats. Bramble, a murderous rogue, is preparing to overthrow the Clans. Was the three cat's choice in their path the right one? Or had they choosen the way to their inevitable doom.

Sunrise and Moonshadow are taken in by ThunderClan after their mother dies. There, they live a better life but things turn out bad. Moonshadow gets exiled for being blamed of murder, and Sunrise joins her and they leave the Clan. Soon they find theirselves in ShadowClan, and Sunrise finds out some things she might not have wanted to... and that includes having a destiny that might change her forever. Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres.
