When he finally escapes to Australia with a girl called Eva, he doesn't believe his eyes when he sees a girl that looks exactly like Hermione. Could she really be alive? Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger? Impossible some would say but nothing is impossible. True love always conquers in the end and hopefully it will conquer in this story too. The war is over at long last and with some hard labour, time and a final wave of the wand, Hogwarts is reconstructed to look like its old self. The secret passageways, the pesky house elves and the magnificent food. It's only fair to let the people who missed their last year of Hogwarts to come back and have all the opportunities that they could ever want. This is why Harry, Ron and Hermione came back to Hogwarts, thankful to be away from the chaos of people asking for their photographs and signatures. Draco Malfoy also came back after being cleared of his previous records. He has always had strong feelings for Hermione but had never acted on them. He had decided to stay away from her this year but that was made difficult as Hermione was Head Girl and he was Head Boy. Will the two most unlikely people fall in love at long last?

When Hermione bumps into Draco one day, she finds that he's been having bad times. He had no place to stay. Hermione lets Draco stay at her place for a night. Draco wakes up by a little girl no more than 5 screaming. He does not know that this little girl named Lexie will change his life forever. The war has concluded, and the Golden Trio and the other students of their year have returned to finish off their years at Hogwarts. The Death Eaters have been imprisoned, and Hogwarts has been repaired. However, the war changed everyone, whether it was a small change or a more evident one. Relationships have been broken, but some have also been formed... Could there finally be a normal year at Hogwarts? Of course not.

"I know there's nothing wrong, but what if everybody thinks it is? Then we'll be alone..." He whispered, resting his head in his hands. She asked with tears threatening too fall. Draco became silent for a moment. All his rage left as he looked into Hermione's eyes. "Because I made a promise to Saint Potter. I would protect you if he wasn't here to protect you anymore." Draco said seriously. "Because he knew I loved you, and I wouldn't let anyone hurt you." "Y..you love me..." Hermione mumbled in awe.
