"I thought you knew from the start." "What?" He asks with certain coldness lingering in his tone. "That I'd never leave you." I let out a soft chuckle at my own words before continuing,"I mean, how could I? When my heart is so attached to you." My words are met with silence making my lips turn into a thin line. "Why?" The absurdity of the question makes me look at the person sitting beside me. Only for our eyes to meet. His onyx coloured eyes stared back at me. His expression was as stoic as ever. I let my head shake slightly at his dumbness. "You understood me in a way no one else ever did." "What if I can't offer you that understanding anymore?" He asks with an arched brow. His question made me turn my gaze back to my hands that laid in my lap. I fiddled with my fingers for some moments. "It doesn't matter." I continue, "you understood me back then, that's enough for me." ----- A rouge ninja, a S rank criminal, a man who killed his clan. A man despised by all the villagers. A man whom she just couldn't hate. Kazumi Himura who couldn't just give up on her friend. Who just couldn't believe in what everyone else said. Would she be able to find out the truth and be able to do anything for her friend? Would she fail as a friend or would she make him believe in the good that's left in the world? Would she be able to convince him of all the goodness he deserves? Read Intertwined Fates to find out! None of the characters belong to me expect the OC!

#180 in Fanfiction || #1 in Hermione || In the language of literature, there exists a seemingly-concrete, antonymous relationship between good and evil, light and dark, hero and monster. And yet, we often disregard the transition from one to another, in which the 'bad guy' becomes 'good.' Perhaps it was the cruel mistreatment of Tom Marvolo Riddle as a child, or maybe it was the bloodline of Slytherin's heir himself that made the boy into the 'monster' who cannot be named. Or, perhaps it was simply because he did not know that his heart would beat in such a frenzy, that his cheeks would redden like a crimson rose, and that his normally-calm facade would melt under the simple gaze of the time-travelling heroine. If I were to bet, I'd say it's the latter. But it matters not why Voldemort could not love, for this is not a story about Voldemort. This is the story of Tom Marvolo Riddle, and how he came into direct conflict and company with the 'brightest witch of her age' ... fifty-years ahead. This is the story of love's recognition, in which the force does not suddenly develop between two people, but a poignant emotion, different for each individual, is uniquely described to be 'love.' Maybe Tom Riddle never loved, much like that of Voldemort. However, as one chooses to stubbornly believe, love existed for Tom Marvolo Riddle as long as he chose to believe that he loved Hermione Jean Granger. ////// NO TRANSLATIONS ARE BEING ALLOWED AT THIS TIME DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the characters detailed in this book, nor any of the quotations and plot taken from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." As her day by day hallucinations get stronger the people around her start to notice. "Is it all just in her head? or is there something more?" The original story told a different way with Sakura as the protagonist (spoilers of Narutos series) ------- I don't own the rights to this photo (although I did make the cover) it was taken off the site "zerochan" by an entry named "anele" I'm not sure if they made the art or not, but wanted to reference the art. [ Naruto belongs to Masashi Kishimoto, but the plot of the story is mine]

Lending a hand to a charity fashion show sounded like such fun. Now if only Belinda's idea of a good time included a smothered designer and trouble with Bennett. While Belinda balances opening a business and a house reno, haute couture Portside-style lands her in one hot mess of runway intrigue and man drama. It seems not everyone at this show is what they claim to be - or even who. Other Books Available in This Series: Cliffhanger (Book One) Unexpected (A Short Story) Personal Shopper (A Short Story)

"Being reunited with your childhood best friend after eight years apart? Sounds like a heart-warming story. Finding out that said best friend is now a complete jerk who's determined to make your life hell? Not so much." Georgie and Connor were once inseparable. Best friends from birth, they did everything together - well, that was until Connor's dad got a once-in-a-lifetime job opportunity and the family was forced to relocate to New York. At age sixteen, Georgie's life is totally different - her main goal being to keep her head down and escape the brutalities of high school with as little emotional scarring as possible. Balancing school, work and her dwindling social life is enough of a challenge, but it's about to get a bit more complicated when her conceited ex-best friend gets thrown into the mix. Maybe friendship should come with an instruction booklet.
