Fury believes it's important for his son to learn team work, since he's the complete opposite of a team player. Quite frankly, he's cold, distant, difficult, and sometimes even a bit selfish. He learns to live with them, chipping off his hard and cold shell in the process. But, his 'mission' becomes complicated when two of his fellow Avengers fall for him. When he begins to fall for them too, life becomes a whole catastrophe of him trying to figure out his feelings and also trying to get through being on a team.
