Link did all he had to do. He defeated Calamity Ganon he activated and completed all the shrines. He was done. However when Princess Zelda perishes after the battle with Ganon she has one clear dying request: Link has to be the next ruler of Hyrule.

Calamity Ganon has finally been put to rest. Zelda and Link set off to the various Kingdom's in order to rebuild Hyrule. However, they both run into their own distractions along the way.

After Calamity Ganon was sealed away, Hyrule was once again at peace without the darkness lurking within the restored land. Link, the Hylian Champion and Hero of Time, is having some trouble. Despite his usual state, he's nothing more than just a hero that saves Hyrule from the darkness of the Great Calamity. He's much more than that; everyone he knew and helped throughout his journey has become a thing to him because he was such an honest guy who follows the true path of good. Not only that - a familiar friend still inspires him so much and yet the admiration never stops there.

The prince of the Zoras has fallen madly in love with the Hylian Champion. Link, oblivious to these feelings that were so inexplicably apparent, agreed to stay with the Zoras for a few weeks after his great feat of defeating Calamity Gabon. Who knew that this supposed "few weeks" would turn into a lifetime? (Romantically One-sided)

Link had no idea what was going on. Hyrule had been saved, everything seemed as though it was perfectly on track again. With the Princess rescued and his duty by her side restored, he was almost certain that everything was finally over. Until his skin begins to illuminate with strange markings, not completely recognised by any close to him. Only the Zora Prince, Sidon, can help him, before the dark magic within these runes completely warps Link into a vessel suitable to possess. Sometimes, Link just needs someone to truly believe in him.

Princess, now Queen Zelda, tells a lie. The word spreads across all of Hyrule, from the home of Goron to the Zora's Domain. The result of her words is destroying a prince.
