Kara Newman has a dirty job in a dirty city. She is a private investigator in the great city of New York. She takes pictures of people cheating on each other for a living. Not the most honest work but she has a knack for the scumbags of the world. Usually she has absolutely no interest in any of the cases she works, but when Kara is hired to look into a figure of her past, the very person who ensured her nightmare of a life, she gets interested.
