Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a blue-eyed, raven-haired, 16-year-old superheroine who wields the Ladybug earings of creation. She has been dealing with Paris's terrorists, Hawkmoth and Mayura, for almost four years, and can no longer do it alone. Sure, she's had allies, and yes, she had a partner, but that was then, and this is now. Damian Wayne has never really cared about anyone. Sure, even though his family is insufferable, he wouldn't wish them dead. (he'd harm them at times, but he wouldn't kill them) He was used to being alone, and he would usually prefer it. Will that change when a mysterious girl, with an even more mysterious past, comes into his life. Like the title says, they were both twice bitten, now thrice shy.

Marinette's life is suddenly turned on its head when a series of events push both herself and ladybug into moving to Gotham. After the Miracle Queen incident and the previous Guardian's retirement Ladybug found herself with yet another whole new set of problems. If it wasn't enough that Hawkmoth was onto them she now had to take up her mentor's mantle as the new Guardian. Torn between carrying on her duties as hero and advancing her career she is forced to make a compromise that will lead her into the territory of a certain Robin. The sweet irony almost makes Marinette laugh. And to think that the little Parisian had to leave the city of love and reach the city of crime to find true love. Damian, on the other hand, didn't know who to blame. He only knew that he had fallen before the spell of that pair of blue eyes that did not come out of his mind, bringing light to the darkest city in America. Marinette is, despite being hurt, a kind heroine whose soul is as pure as an angel. Damien is generally sullen with everyone. A vigilante who learned what human relationships mean a little late. As fierce as a demon. None of them knows exactly how, but they find their other half in the least likely person. Fate, chance or ...?

Ladybug and Chat Noir captures Hawkmoth and brings him to the police, in the process they find out his identity. Something in Chat Noir breaks and he goes crazy. Marinette watches as Chat Noir murders her parents and proceeds to de-transform in front of her and confesses his love. Marinette having enough of her class bullying her and taking care of Paris makes a run for it after taking the miraculous box from its hiding place. Kaalki teleports her somewhere and three people find her and take her in. A while later a boy by the name Damian takes an interest in the Parisian girl. Side note None of the characters are mine they don't belong to me, if there are any pictures/art they don't belong to me!

miraculous ladybug au ! Adrien and Marinette are dancers who are never supposed to properly meet; that is their condition if they want to keep dancing. But when blue eyes meet green, the whole world melts away and they can't help it. Besides, rules were made to be broken.
