Yami Atem, a once cruel and heartless king, was obsessed with power and therefore, only cared for himself. However, because of his cold heart and selfish ways, he paid the ultimate price: Becoming a hideous dragon beast. Now Yami has one year to make things right by falling in love with another, who will return those same affections, otherwise he will remain with the doomed fate of staying a dragon beast forever. Once he makes his way home he sits and thinks over the day. Kevin however couldn't help but notice the boy didn't quite look as cheerful as usual. Even though Kevin and Edd had never been close he didn't quite like that he seemed to shine a little less brighter then before. Though he still had a smile plastered on his face it didn't quite reach his eyes. Troubled by this Kevin seeks a way to figure out why.
