But of course, nothing stays safe in the Baudelaires' world for long, and Count Olaf, also known as their problems, isn't far behind. Halfway between the bleak beginning to their story and the enigmatic end, Count Olaf and his troupe chase the Baudelaires to four more locations, each more far-flung than the last.
