dean was sure castiel wasnt coming back. he was postive the angel was dead for good. his best friend, gone in just a moment, dragged away to the empty, where angels go when they die. forever. yet again, nothing ever really does stay dead.

Ever since Dean Winchester got the Mark of Cain on his arm, his world has been turned upside down. His humanity is slowly dwindling away from his grasp and something entirely different takes a hold of him. Something foreign, monstrous even. He barely has control of his actions and every gut feeling inside of Dean is telling him to kill. In a tale that follows the story line of season 9 and 10, Dean must battle the demons taken residence inside him or be swallowed whole in the process. When Dean Winchester's diary is read by Cas, will the angel who ran back to heaven ever return? (Dean and Sam are still hunters but I won't be writing too much about their hunts as I feel it'll get kinda boring, plus Dean has some interesting hobbies)

Dean feels broken and tired, but hides it. Cas was sure about himself for the first time in months. But then Sam, Dean and Cas come back from a hunt. A hunt that made Dean realise how much he needs Cas. A hunt that made Cas realise how much he hides some emotions for Dean inside of him. It was a hunt which turned it all around, which would make them find each other. This is a short destiel story.
