What makes a hero? There wasn't really a right or wrong answer. Some said it was how many people you save, regardless of your initial intentions. Others argued it was how powerful you were in terms of defeating villains. To Midoriya Izuku, it was your intentions and beliefs. It was if you chose to do the right thing. It was having a kind heart. So why, when he stood before the number one hero - his idol, his inspiration, the man who gave him the will to live - did he feel heartbroken? That wasn't what a hero was supposed to make civilians feel, right? They were supposed to protect and comfort. Not crush dreams. Or; Midoriya Izuku is only a middle-schooler. A kid. There is only so much a kid can take... And an interaction with his idol pushed him a little too far. But that small push might've changed his life forever... Everything was going exceptionally well, at first, that is until his mother got sick just a few short months after he began his journey through early adulthood. Cancer- Inko, his mother, was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Sure, he was there on a photography scholarship, but he had hospital bills to pay- as well as money for essential needs. So he takes odd jobs here and there to get by, but it was never enough. That is until he gets an opportunity to clean bathrooms and assist a boy around his age for a crap ton of money. Hitoshi Shinso, he's your typical playboy in great need of an attitude check. His father, Shota Aizawa is a very well respected business man in Japan- but his son's behavior is beginning to affect him in ways you can only imagine. So when a desperate Izuku makes his way into their lives, Aizawa takes a chance to hopefully change his son's snotty ways. Excerpt--------- "Hm? What'd you say?" He clearly hadn't thought of the game yet. "How about. . . Two truths and a lie?" He suggested, peaking Izuku's interest. "All right, fine, but you have to go first Mr. Demanding." Izuku said with a smirk. "'Mr. Demanding?'" The elder mused, "Is that what you've been calling me this entire time?" Giving a light shrug of his shoulder, Izuku looks around nonchalantly. "It's a possibility. . . yes,"

Izuku Midoriya, a young boy once thought quirkless, dies in a tragic accident after getting to close to a villain attack. The story starts after Katsuki Bakugo feels strange things happening around him, dangerous accidents just barely missing him, cold winds and warm feelings. Izuku Todoroki, son of Endeavor and Rei, twin brother of Shoto. After receiving their quirks, during a traumatic experience, twins Shoto and Izuku were trained by the best of the best in order to become pro-heroes and surpass All Might. But in an act of defiance against the no. 2 hero, Izuku applies to the support class instead of the hero course. Endeavor, in a fit of rage and disappointment, makes Izuku take the entrance exam like any other kid instead of giving him a recommendation. Though this doesn't stop our hero, who makes it in with top scores and goes to show the world he doesn't need the name Todoroki backing him. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Izuku Midoriya, isn't that the kid from the support course? The one who yelled at Bakubro and Todoroki after the sports festival?" Kirishima asked. "Yes, you'll be giving your designs to him by the end of the day." Aizawa said. "Are you sure it's ok for everyone to give their new costume designs to him? He's only one person and has his own classwork to worry about on top of that. One shouldn't overload themselves just to prove a point. Aren't there other support course students who can help him?" Iida asked standing up. Aizawa simply sighed before answering. "He'll have no trouble adding improvements and doing his school work. There is a reason why he was chosen for the job. If he couldn't handle it then he wouldn't have been given the task. And besides, he didn't ask for this project, more like it was forced upon him simply because he is the only one fit for the job. Now if that all, the rest of the class will be for you to work on your designs that are due at the end of the day." With that, Aizawa crawled into his sleeping bag and fell asleep.

Yeah quirks are cool and all, but have you tried using your brain? It's magical. Izuku Midoriya was born quirkless but didn't let that stop him. He trained his body and mind until he became the strongest asset on the field. He has skills to rival Nezu and puts them to use every chance he gets whether it be, Sparring Kacchan, Running a cafe, taking care of his family, messing with the hero commision, or helping the many pros who frequent the cafe he owns. Not to mention he dabbles in befriending vilains, making red winged pros swoon, and taming angry exploding Pomeranians.

Izuku Midoriya was born to be a ray of sunshine. Someone who gave hope to anyone he graced with his smile. Someone who would do anything for a friend. Someone who would give his all no matter the cost. For the most part, Izuku is. He smiles in the face of everyone who mocks and scorns him for being quirkless. He defends anyone in trouble no matter how much they hate being saved by a 'Deku'. He hugs and reassures his mother whenever she worries for him. He lives life as happy as anyone else. Or at least that'd be true if Izuku were an idiot.

Deku's parents got into an arguement one night, waking young Izuku. The outcome left him alone with his (slightly mentally abusive) father. Because of the quirk he grew up with, many people hated and bullied him until high school. Things change when one unfortunate incident after another occur, he's been scouted by a group of villains, and his already bad habits and dark thoughts get worse and worse. "I've finally found someone who wanted me. Unlike you, Kacchan." Izuku Midoriya was a strong-willed child with a bright mind and even brighter future ahead of him. However, life didn't hold its punches against the poor boy. Eventually, after being constantly tormented by the one person he called a friend, and told to give up by his idol, he stops trying to reach his dreams. He was a Quirkless hero fanboy, with a heavy heart that led him to take a leap of faith. His life changed from that day. He is no longer powerless. He'll show it to the world, one day. For now, he's perhaps a little too hyperactive. --- !!! Will contain themes like suicide, depression, gore, insanity, the works. Read at your own risk. !!! As a note: the story may not make entire sense in the first few chapters. There are important points to the story I want to reveal later that may seem confusing in the story's current state. Also, I don't really have access to the manga, and have only watched the anime. I may get things wrong that are explained in the manga.
