She is her parent's first born, and she will rule, with or without her mate. But her parents have plans to help her find her him. They call for a meeting of the Pacific Packs, summoning everyone to their home on Kodiak Island, Alaska. Kai Laeaotoa responds to the summons, and makes the long journey from Polynesia to Southern Alaska. He has yet to find his mate, but he has just lost his father and become Alpha at only 23 years old. His pack is in trouble, they are under constant threat from an unknown enemy from the west. He desperately needs help, and is hopeful that the Alpha of the Kodiak pack will lend it to him. What will happen when Wintyr and Kai lay eyes on one another?

This is a fanfiction story based on the "John Cleaver" book series by Dan Wells, and is meant to be read after all of them as it takes place after that storyline.
