(Friendly heads-up. This book uses characters created by friends, so in sense this a fanfic.) Three close friends, Luke, a Garchomp, Phil, a Gallade and Morgan, an Umbreon, are about to have their lives turned around somewhat drastically when they stumble across a Gem that has the ability to increase the power of certain types of Pokémon to a surprising level. Because of this godly effect, the three decide to travel and find out what the Gem is and whether or not they can sell it to someone in order to obtain the finances needed to rebuild Firesky, a village that has been basically home to them. During their adventure, the friends discover that the Gem is not just some odd stone, but is part of something much, much more than what they could ever expect, as they stumble across groups locked in conflict; desperately searching for these power-enhancing stones. Rumours spread quickly about the Gems are made by God itself, Arceus. Learning of this, the friends are forced to join a war that of which they no nothing about, nor the goals of the sides at play. Because of this involuntary decision, they must take the word of the group forcing them to fight - that being that the whole nation and possibly world is in extreme danger, as a bunch of fanatics aim to gather these Gems as offerings to their Leader. Reluctantly, they fight, given the simple choice to either do so, or face execution for treason.

THIS IS SO CRINGEY I STARTED WRITING IT WHEN I WAS TWELVE. SORRY. Aha sometimes I look back on it and fix my grammar, but nonetheless, this story's kinda cool. This is a fan fiction that picks up in the year 2014. Pox, the genius Furon, has become emperor of his home planet after defeating their traitor leader back in the 70's. Crypto feels lonely however, and he tries to convince Pox to return to their old life back on earth, where they ran their own businesses and were their own bosses. However, there's a new threat in their own backyard. Magnus, a dictator that conquers many neighboring planets and friends of Furons, has discovered Crypto and Pox's home planet and he will stop at nothing to take it over in order to build the ultimate army and conquer his last desired planet: Earth. But there's more to the plan than the Furons think. Magnus has an idea that goes beyond what these two heroes have ever faced before. Join these two Furons as they return once more to their dangerous life in order to defend the very thing that they set out to destroy.

There would be no disturbance. The civilian quietly ducked into a room, holding his breathe, the revolver clutched in his hands. A shrill hiss moved the silence. It was blood-curdling and vicious; a sure sign of impending death. The man raised the gun and clicked the safety off. He was well aware bullets were ineffective, but he held too much dignity to go down without a proper fight. A sticky translucent substance drizzled onto his shoulder. He glanced up, but darkness was the only thing to greet him as a pair of hands, black as an onyx gem, grasped him by the neck and pulled him into the air vent, slicing his throat with wicked claws, blood gushing out onto the floor below and settling indifferently on the walls. Not a soul heard his futile cries for help. Because in space no one can hear you scream.
