Leading up to the events of Breath of the Wild, explore the past of King Rhoam, Link, and Zelda as they prepare for the eventual return of Calamity Ganon-and their eventual failure 100 years ago.

What if Mipha put her love for Link and concern for Zelda ahead of Daruk's plan to rush to her Divine Beast? This story takes place in an AU that begins on the day of the Great Calamity. There is no time travel and the sequel to this story is "Love in Zora's Domain". This is a work of fan fiction using characters and events from the world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is owned and copyrighted by Nintendo. It's the final year of high school for Zelda Harkinian, the daughter of a very wealthy family. Everyone is dreaded the return of school, except for Zelda. She's always been the nerd at school, but that didn't bother her. Zelda expects this year to just be like every other year, but that's not how things go. When the new kid comes, Zelda knows that this year, won't be like any other. Sorry if the description is trash. I hope you like the story! ~This is a COMPLETED fan-made sequel to Breath of the Wild and Zelink fanfic~ It has been six months after the defeat of Calamity Ganon. Peace and rebirth are beginning to come upon the land of Hyrule once again. Zelda is deep in planning of the repair of Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town, and Link is busy with the cleansing of the lands from monsters. The two have had almost no time together after their fight with Ganon. As events begin to settle down, and Zelda and Link finally spend time together, Master Kanto, the new leader of the Yiga Clan, hatches a plan to end the "Hero" once and for all and raise darkness and malice over the land again. Link is known to be a man of few words. In this case, it is completely true. He has been mute since he was very little, no one knows why. As you can probably expect, other people his age are rather vocal, especially about him not being so. Zelda sees through it. She takes a look further to see who is behind all of the silence, but it doesn't work out how she expected it to.
