So I based this story off my own life with a few changes. Just so you know, I suck at writing. Warning: there will be swearing, controversial topics, and smut. So yeah enjoy!

- Sequel to Speak Up - Alexander and John are taking on life in New York. Finding a place to live, getting a job, and most importantly, making sure Alexanders eating disorder and speech therapy programs are working. Keep in mind this was written in like, 2017 or 2018, so there's a lot of things in here that are here simply because of the year that it was written. All the nicknames, phrases, couples, plots, etc. are all the way they are because that's what was popular at the time and I wrote this at 14. Now at 18, I check up on this occasionally just to see how it's doing, and I've noticed a lot of comments about these little things, so I thought I would add this note. I'm glad that people are still enjoying my work, even though this one is definitely shitty compared to my more recent works on AO3, but just keep in mind this is about five years old and is therefore going to be out of date with some fandom things. His town is still filled with the homophobic, racist people he's always been surrounded by, and not to mention his abusive father. Alexander Hamilton, a selective mute, has finally had enough. He leaves the Caribbean and moves in with his cousin Usnavi. So, little did John know, what's been the same for years was about to get flipped upside down, just because of one day and one silent boy.

Two pretty badass college roommates living together. Sounds great already, right? Well it gets better. The two start to feel a romance brewing, it leads to confusion and fear. But guess what? They're still super badass.

John made a mistake. He lost his virginity at fourteen and ended up getting the woman pregnant. She died and he kept the child, with the consequence of being cut out of his family. Now he's seventeen with a two year old daughter, working two jobs and attending high school. Even with these stresses, he still kept time to spend with his daughter. He didn't hide the fact he had a child. She was his pride and joy and loved her unconditionally. Alexander was basically the star of the school. Everyone looked at him like a God. He was the star of the lacrosse team, top of his class, and hot. He did get some hate, as he was an put bisexual, but it never seemed to get to him. He was perfect.
