[#1 Teen Fiction | #1 in Romance] Bad boy Luke Dawson is stuck living with clumsy nobody Millie Ripley for the summer. When she ran over his most prized possession, her world changed. She had to pay him back for every dime of damages, and the favors he called in weren't just about money. She had to pay him back, and everyone knows how payback is a... This is a love story. Hot boys like Luke Dawson never pay attention to nobodies like Millie. But here they were, two kids from opposite ends of the chain, set to turn the whole hierarchy upside down. Because no one can stop attraction. When opposite attract, the spontaneous reaction can be a combustion or a downright explosion. With Luke, my money's on the explosion. We're talking public humiliation, roller-coaster emotions, drama among cliques, prissy sisters, crazy mothers and a whole lot of hotness from resident bad boy and neighbor, Luke Dawson. [BxB] Waking up next to someone after having a little too much to drink was no new, riveting story in this day and age. Waking up next to another boy, when you were also a boy, was a little more interesting, but still nothing to write home about. But waking up in Nico Beckett's sheets? To Wesley, it was a nightmare come to life. ~~~ Wesley Dillon's life was uneventful, and frankly, he liked it that way. He didn't get into trouble, he kept his grades up, he played it safe. He never did anything to rock the boat he was floating in, the calm waters of his lake left undisturbed. Now starting his last year in high school, Wes was content to continue living his life as he always has - but sometimes, and only sometimes, he caught himself wishing that something could make ripples in his tiny world. What he wasn't ready for were the waves that were Nico Beckett - a troublemaker, womaniser, and an incredibly popular boy at his school. He was everything Wes was not. Nico was the type of guy that Wes never wanted to associate with, but after waking up in his arms with panic in his chest and pains everywhere else, he realised that his life was going to get much, much more complicated. It took him everything to try not to drown as the waves pulled him further and further down. But, somewhere along the way, he wasn't sure that drowning was actually a bad thing. ~~~ #1 in romance (29/09/19) #1 in LGBT (07/09/2019) #1 in bxb (07/09/2019) #1 in boyxboy (08/09/2019) #1 in gay (11/09/2019) #1 in highschool (29/09/19) #1 in school (17/10/19) #1 in comingofage (01/10/19) #1 in slowburn (02/10/19) #1 in BL (04/10/19) #1 in lovetriangle (05/10/19) #1 in family (31/10/19) #1 in comingoutofthecloset (08/01/20) #1 in writtenwithpride (19/06/21) #4 in love (07/03/21)

This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of what it is like to be discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will be just as many moments of happiness, laughter, and love. Naomi Lorraine, more commonly known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her small school, Dartwell High. And even with the help of her snarky attitude, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone, every day. She only has to survive the laughs, insults, and bruises her senior year will bring before being free from the prison we know as high school. However, her final year in high school won't be how she planned when she catches the attention of the three new senior transfer students: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. Their unordinary friendship may be what will save Naomi, not just from her bullies, but from herself. - This is a stand-alone story inspired by my 2015 Wattys Talk of the Town Award Winner TGGBB or "The Good Girl's Bad Boys: The Good, The Bad, and The Bullied". It is a separate work from TGGBB Series. Readers of TGGBB and Rereaders of this story will not be tolerated in spoiling the story for First Time Readers. Trigger Warning: Contains depictions of violence, bullying (based on racism, gender, sexuality, and more), sexual harassment and assault, mental abuse, and cursing in languages other than English (Yes, I have found a loophole on my no cursing rule).
