After discovering Chara's crush, Asriel, and Sans' crush, Frisk, are dating each other, Chara and Sans decide to stop fighting and laughing at their misery to take some action and "date" each other so Frisk and Asriel realise what they're missing, but... things don't end up exactly as planed. It had been ten years since they all got to the surface. Frisk shared a soul with Asriel and Chara, due to Frisk, went pacifist. They all lived happily in Ebott Village. Toriel with Frisk, Asriel, and Chara. Sans with Papyrus. Asgore alone. Undyne with Alphys. Mettaton was somewhere else with Blooky being famous and all.. Frisk refused to reset after she had finally saved Asriel. Everyone's happy. Right..? No..? Chara isn't..? Huh.. Oh well.

The monsters are free Finally the game can end. No more resets, no more war. Everything is peaceful Perhaps, for every monster overall it seems alright. In an individual, not so much. Chara should feel happy. She's gotten her wish for the monsters to be free. Yet she finds herself stuck on tragedys that she hoped she'd forget forever. Sans is having trouble getting used to things. He enjoys life up top but can't seem to get along with Gaster and with Papyrus gone so often, he feels lost and alone. Perhaps everything isnt as perfect as the two had once thought it would be. Perhaps there really is only one true ending that will lead to everyone truly feeling content.
