Unfortunately, suspicion levels are high among the Inklings so he has trouble being accepted by them and getting accustomed to their lifestyle. Agent 3 takes interest in Agent 8 and decides to help him on his journey in getting used to his new life in Inkopolis Square. Along the way, Agent 8 slowly begins to have feelings for his new friend. NOTE: -Events take place after Octo Expansion and during Splatoon 2. -Names are agent 8 and agent 3 for the first chapter - The story begins to develop more plot in the middle. An old man predicts that this has to do with the 100 year turf war many years ago and it's up to Mindy and her friends to save the Great Zapfish while learning more about each other and learning many secrets along the way.
