It seems weird, but harmless, when SPR is hired to make the crying of a nonexistent baby stop. But though Mai loves babies and is more than willing to help, the crying can't be smothered, because how do you fulfill the need of something that was never technically alive? Has a dab of romance.

Sequel to Cumin, Plain, Gang, but can be read on its own. Mai is preoccupied with building relationships with her soon-to-be in-laws, but SPR's ultra ritzy, high profile case in a famous hotel could turn her plans of a wedding into a funeral. No one can be trusted, no one is in the right place at the right time, there's a too easy suicide wandering the halls, and Masako and John are acting dangerously and oddly daring.

Sequel to White, but can be read on its own. Mai and Naru have a blissful honeymoon planned with no haunting, no ghosts, no tales of murder, and definitely no monsters. Sequel to Slim, BUT CAN BE READ ON IT'S OWN. Despite being irritable and having to deal with an overprotective Naru, Mai's pregnancy is coming along without complications. But, of course, not everyone's pregnancy goes as nature intended it, and Naru can't hope to keep Mai from the spiritual world forever. Warning, graphic birth scene.

Oliver Davis is the famous genius professor who brought parapsychology over the last stretch to being considered a legitimate science. Mai Taniyama is his dorky, orphan pupil who just happens to dig his stick-up-his-ass talk and walk. She also just happens to have enough latent psychic power to follow along on one of his cases. Lucky? Nope. But she doesn't know that yet... Rated M for graphic depictions of self-harm, even if they're ghost-induced.

Sequel to Out of Hand, but can be read on its own. And this time, Mai is sent solo on a case Professor Davis just can't be bothered with, which is saying something as it's on their own campus. Both Mai and the Professor seriously doubt any ghosts are on this case, but since the president is asking...btw, what's all this about being engaged to a high schooler? Rated M for scary stuff and one dude taking a make-out session too far. He gets punched.
