Shinji and Kaworu meet again in a world where no angels need to be fought or evas to be piloted and everything seems perfect until Kaworu finds out that Shinji suffers from heart failure. As they both struggle to find happiness, Shinji tries out different treatments until only to be left with no option in the end.
