[On Hiatus] Izuku Midoriya can't remember a time when he didn't want to be a hero, a time where he didn't have the innate urge to help anyone, and everyone around him. Everyone around him had always told him that he couldn't do it, that he was weak, worthless, or not worth the time, but he never gave up, because he had made a promise to himself, a promise to his mother that he would become a hero. Of course he didn't remember this promise, but thats what you get when you supress half the memories you have from your early childhood in order to keep your sanity. But those memories can't stay buried forever, and when they start to resurface, Izuku's mind is almost as much of a warzone as the outside world is.

Melissa Crawford thinks she's just a regular teenage girl. She goes to school. She has friends, boy problems, homework...you know, the typical teenage angst. But she couldn't be more wrong, for Melissa Crawford is not a mortal. Her adoptive mortal mother refused to give her up and hired a witch to erase the enchanting Faery child's memory, not realizing that things aren't that simple. You see, when she was a little girl, Melissa promised herself forever to her Leannan Sidhe (mate), a Fae Prince, and a promise to Fae is sacred. After Izuku's failed attempt at trying to save Bakugou in the sludge villain attack, he was taken by Stain and was asked if he wanted to be a hero of his own kind, or to put it simply a vigilante He saw potential in the kid and that he posses the characteristics of a true hero. Midoriya Izuku is a bright kid. His analytical skills and planning rival that of U.A.'s own principal, and yet he is beat and ignored. His childhood friend became his worst bully, giving him many burn scars. His Mother blamed herself, but never noticed the bullying. The teachers flat out turned a blind eye. Why was that? Why did such a smart kid get called useless so frequently? Its simple. He doesn't have a quirk. He still wants to be someone who saves others with a smile.
