Peridot is a quiet, geeky teenager starting her junior year in high school. She has been questioning her gender for awhile now and she is still quite scared. She had few close friend who's names were, Jasper, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz. She always seemed to get in fights with popular kids, which may be the reason she is not so popular. She meets the one and only Lapis Lazuli, a bubbly girl with a 'heart of gold'. With her trust issues and anxiety she doesn't know if she should befriend Lazuli or be cautious.

Lapis Lazuli and Peridot Greene did not have what you would call a "friendship." Lapis would use Peridot for homework and cheated off her for test grades and in exchange, Peridot would get protection. They weren't really friends, more like partners. However, after an incorrect ingredient is used in a chemistry class, Lapis starts getting strange feelings for the small nerd. Feelings that extend far beyond friendship.

Sapphire is a freshman in college. She feels alone, as if no one really wants her around. She's felt like this for a while, that is until she meets a strange girl in a party she didn't even want to go to. After that one single moment, her life changes completely. Ruby is one of those tomboys that just don't care about lots of things. She's popular, has a few anger issues, and can set a building on fire if they push the wrong buttons. Her best friend is Jasper. Sapphire is one of those new shy girls. She's the type that gets picked on all the time. Her best friend is Amethyst. This is a gem high school story but they're still gems and not humans. No swears will be involved because I want this reading experience to be as nice and happy as Rebecca Sugar would have it. Of course, I know that I could never be as good because Steven Universe is sooo bae. The comedy from Pearl lmao. I normally hate how people just jump to conclusions on how Ruby and Sapphire loved each other immediately unlike the real world. Real life romance takes time and effort and not immediate "oh I love her SoOoOo much!" "I love her so much omg". So, I decided to write my own and let the relationship go slowly and steadily and not make people jealous of fairy tale land. Not Mature! No 'extra' stuff.
