Korra and Asami have been friends for a while now, but all that changes after Asami had a fight with Mako and decides to stay with Korra for the night, which soon leads to a turn off events that happens between the two. She fell for her best friend. They were both ready to start the next chapter of their lives, fresh out of college, but one was still holding on to something that she couldn't let go. Her. She would be heading into yet another year of wanting someone who didn't want anything to do with her. At least, not in the way that she's longed for.

In this story Asami starts off as an orphan. She meets a small brown girl with the most big beautiful blue eyes, at the orphanage. The blue eyed girl was to young to speak but she would be able to say "avatar". Asami decided to stick with that name and call her "Avatar". They became best friends and promise to each other that they will always stay together. But everything changed once Avatar was adopted. Before Avatar left, she went to hug Asami for the last time and promised her that they would make their way back to each other. Asami stayed with that promised. Soon she was taken in by Katara. But she never let go of that memory, and she knew deep down in her gut that she will find her again. She will find her Avatar.

Finally Korra decided to go visit her parents back at her home tribe, as the CEO of future industry is headed the same way for a meeting with another CEO. Asami Sato is a CEO of the most prosperous company in Republic City- "Future Industries". She had to work hard after her father, Hiroshi Sato, got arrested for drug distribution. The name of the Sato organization was in shades for a while until a handsome man, Mako Sann, came to offer help. The plan was simple: those two had to get married, uniting their companies therefore sharing all financial wealth. But everything changes when Korra appears at the doors of Asami Sato's house.

This is a lot Korra and Asami. Asami is 18 and just broke up with her boyfriend mako. She gets grounded and learns that her dad is bringing a guest over to stay with with for a while. The guest is Korra who is going to start working for Mr. Sato she is 17 and moved away from home to start a new life.
