𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 an early life of torment and neglect, you'd think an average person would struggle with their damaged balance of mind.
And you'd be right.
Within the tiresome endeavour of living, only doubles with the chains of a desolate past. Dragging her under, down below the surface as to smother her into submission. The exhaustion taking it's toll as she gives in to the end, to give in to the temptation of death, and all her problems will simply fade away.
However, there's this thing inside. And that thing is raging, fighting to survive. Compelling her to move through the storm with roaring waves and darkened skies, convincing her to care and protect it, to prevent that flame from burning out entirely. Until she realises, she is no longer living for herself.
Given the chance to return to deaths iced waters, could you find it in yourself to abandon that thing that's kept you alive for so long, only to quench your own selfish desires?
